Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing to join a Kira Marie Retreat Experience.

These Terms & Conditions are designed to provide clarity for both you and Kira Marie, ensuring every retreat is held with integrity, respect and care.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all retreat experiences offered by Kira Marie, including one-day retreats, weekend retreats, Australian retreats and international retreats, unless otherwise stated within the retreat information.

By booking a retreat, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Retreat Bookings

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place unless otherwise stated.

Your booking is confirmed once your deposit or full payment has been received.

As retreat places are limited, bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Kira Marie reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking where it is believed the retreat may not be a suitable fit, or where participation could compromise the safety, wellbeing or experience of the participant or the group.

2. Payments

The remaining balance must be paid by the final payment date outlined for your retreat.

Where a payment plan has been agreed, all scheduled payments must be completed on time.

Failure to make payments may result in your booking being cancelled and your place offered to another participant.

Any monies already paid remain subject to the Cancellation Policy.

3. Cancellation Policy

Due to the significant upfront costs involved in securing venues, accommodation, facilitators and retreat experiences, all payments made towards your retreat are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your place to another suitable participant, subject to written approval from Kira Marie.

Where your place is successfully transferred, any financial arrangements remain between yourself and the new participant unless otherwise agreed.

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law where applicable.

4. Retreat Changes

While every effort will be made to deliver the retreat as advertised, Kira Marie reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the itinerary, schedule, facilitators, venues or activities where necessary.

These changes will always be made with the intention of maintaining the quality, safety and integrity of the retreat experience.

Should circumstances outside of Kira Marie's reasonable control require a retreat to be postponed or cancelled, participants will be offered a transfer to a future retreat or a refund of retreat payments made, unless otherwise required by Australian Consumer Law.

Kira Marie is not responsible for any costs incurred by participants relating to independently booked flights, accommodation or travel arrangements.

5. Travel & Insurance

Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel unless otherwise stated within the retreat inclusions.

For international retreats, participants are responsible for ensuring they hold a valid passport, obtain any required visas, meet entry requirements and comply with any travel regulations applicable to their destination.

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all retreats and is mandatory for international retreats. Your policy should include cover for medical expenses, cancellation, personal belongings and travel disruptions.

Kira Marie is not responsible for flight delays, cancellations, missed connections, lost luggage, travel disruptions or any costs incurred as a result of travel arrangements made independently by participants.

6. Retreat Inclusions

Each retreat will clearly outline what is included within the retreat investment.

Depending on the retreat, inclusions may consist of accommodation, meals, workshops, healing sessions, ceremonies, excursions or other experiences.

Any items not specifically listed as included remain the responsibility of the participant.

7. Health & Personal Responsibility

Retreats offered by Kira Marie include personal development, spiritual practices, energy healing, meditation, breathwork, journalling, emotional exploration and other wellbeing experiences.

Participants acknowledge that these experiences may be emotionally, mentally or physically activating.

By attending a retreat, you confirm that you are participating voluntarily and accept full responsibility for your own physical, emotional and mental wellbeing throughout the retreat.

Participants agree to disclose any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, pregnancy or other circumstances that may affect their participation through the Participant Health & Waiver Form prior to attending.

Kira Marie's services are intended to support personal growth and wellbeing and are not a substitute for medical, psychological or psychiatric advice, diagnosis or treatment.

8. Participation & Safety

Participants are responsible for making choices that honour their own physical and emotional capacity throughout the retreat.

If at any time you feel uncomfortable participating in an activity, you are encouraged to communicate with Kira Marie and choose the level of participation that feels appropriate for you.

Your wellbeing always comes first.

9. Behaviour & Community

Kira Marie Retreats are created as safe, respectful and supportive spaces for all participants.

Participants agree to treat fellow guests, facilitators, accommodation providers and local communities with kindness and respect.

Behaviour that is abusive, discriminatory, threatening, disruptive or places the safety or wellbeing of others at risk may result in removal from the retreat without refund.

10. Alcohol & Illegal Drugs

Kira Marie Retreats are intentionally created as nurturing, supportive and conscious spaces that encourage presence, connection and personal growth.

The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited throughout all retreat experiences.

To help maintain the integrity and safety of the retreat, alcohol is not consumed during retreat activities or within the retreat accommodation. Where a group meal is held at a restaurant, participants are welcome to enjoy a glass or two of wine or another alcoholic beverage with their meal if they choose. Responsible consumption is expected at all times.

Participants acknowledge that excessive alcohol consumption or any substance that impairs judgement may affect their ability to safely participate in retreat activities and accept full responsibility for their choices.

Kira Marie reserves the right to ask any participant whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe or negatively impacts the wellbeing of the group to cease consuming alcohol or, where necessary, to leave the retreat without refund.

11. Personal Belongings

Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings throughout the retreat.

Kira Marie accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property including luggage, valuables, passports, electronic devices or other personal items.

12. Photography & Media

Photographs and videos may be captured throughout the retreat to celebrate the experience and share future retreat opportunities.

Participants will have the opportunity to indicate their photography preferences within the Participant Health & Waiver Form.

Kira Marie will always respect these preferences wherever reasonably possible.

13. Force Majeure

Kira Marie will not be held responsible for delays, cancellations or changes resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics, government restrictions, airline disruptions, political unrest, venue closures or other unforeseen events.

Where possible, suitable alternative arrangements or transfers will be offered.

14. Liability

Participants acknowledge that they voluntarily choose to participate in retreat activities and accept responsibility for their own decisions throughout the retreat.

To the extent permitted by law, Kira Marie will not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage or expense arising from participation in the retreat except where required under Australian Consumer Law or where liability cannot legally be excluded.

15. Privacy

Personal information collected during the booking process or through the Participant Health & Waiver Form will be used solely for the purpose of delivering the retreat experience safely and effectively.

Your personal information will be treated confidentially and will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or where necessary to protect your safety during the retreat.

16. Acceptance

By booking a Kira Marie Retreat Experience, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Participants also agree to complete the Participant Health, Consent & Waiver Form prior to attending the retreat.
